If you’re looking for a dog, not too old, not too young, not too big, not too small, then take a closer look at Richmond, a 4-year old, 48-pound Beagle/Hound mix who is the absolute, most perfect gentleman everrr.

Fully housebroken, fabulous on a leash, and quiet as a mouse, Richmond is soooo easy to care for and hang out with. He loves all forms of life, from kids to cats to other dogs. He’s a total cuddle bug, but it’s not a requirement of his existence. If you invite him to snuggle, he’ll happily oblige; otherwise he’s content to sit on the floor with one of his many toys.

Richmond is equal parts playful and chill. He has a toy box that he likes to rummage through and he’ll gleefully carry his play-things from room to room. When he’s in the mood for lovin’, he will gaze up at you with his puppy dog eyes for pets and belly rubs. He seems to be particularly drawn to kids and is extremely polite and gentle around them.

Easy-going and sweet, you can take anything away from Richmond, including toys and treats, and he is non-reactive. He’s fine in a car, he sleeps peacefully through the night, he enjoys meandering around outside and taking walks as much as he enjoys hanging out inside, he give kisses if you ask him for any, he possesses the ideal amount of independence, and best of all, and he constantly wags his tail. This jovial fella is ready to find his permanently home and what an awesome addition he will make!
