You'd never know this girl has had a rough life because she's a total sweet heart just looking for someone to pay attention to her. She came to Stray Paws when found as a stray giving birth in a strangers yard. She and her babies have been in a foster home getting the best of everything. Her babies are now adopted and Steffi is ready to start living her best life! Steffi LOVES belly rubs and rolls on her back to ask for one every time we walk past! She's absolutely the perfect girl...dog friendly, potty trained, expert snuggler, perfect in the car and on leash! She makes the silliest crinkle face & loves to talk and it's hilarious! Steffi is appreciative for everything (including ice cubes!) and looks at us so adoringly, like she's saying thank you.
Steffi is estimated to be 2 years old and about 48lbs.

Interview
Once the application is reviewed, it is sent to the foster and they will reach out to you in 1-3 days.

Meet the Pet
The foster will set up a time and place for you to meet the pet. We will also need to meet your resident pets if you have them.
4.
Home Check
We will do a home visit to ensure the foster animal goes to the right home. We will call your landlord if you rent.
5.
Approve Application
We call all 3 references.
If you have a resident pet, we will call their vet to confirm they are up to date on vaccinations & altered.
Additional adoption info
All adoption fees are payable the day the contract is finalized.
Please note our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 6 months and younger - $325.00
Young adults 7 months-6 years - $300.00
Adults-Seniors: 7 years+ - $200.00

We are a 501c3 licensed non profit organization in St Louis, Missouri. We are foster based and have a passion for helping the animals who have been dumped and abandoned in St Louis city. We also work hard to help save those in high kill shelters that are scheduled to be euthanized. We believe in that all pets deserve a second chance and that there is a home for everyone.
