Hi, my name is Mako! I was unfortunately surrendered by my owner, and now I'm here at Big Dog Ranch looking for a home. It's hard being a big senior dog in a shelter cause dogs like me tend to get passed over. But I promise if you give me a chance, I'll show you that I'm still full of love and joy. I'm a happy doggo with a great love of food. In fact, eating is quite possibly my favorite thing to do of all time, so I would like it if you could help me monitor my weight, please. When I arrived, I was going through a rough time recovering from being sick, but now I'm all good and ready to roll! After my struggles, I would say I've more than earned a nice bed in your home!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
