This gorgeous black female with big round eyes is Brûlée . She loves to play and is full of kitten energy and mischief. 😽 She gets along well with other cats in her foster home, and runs full speed up and down a cat tree. 😻
When she is exhausted from playing, Brûlée loves to rest on a lap where she welcomes pets and chin scratches. When she is very relaxed and being petted, she rewards her foster mom with a loud purr and drool! 💦
Speaking of purring, we asked our vet to check out what sounded like a cough when Brûlée purred. After a CT scan our vet saw a small shadow behind her soft palate which is likely a small polyp. The foster mom has not heard the coughing sound for over a month at this point, and it might never come back or become an issue. The good news is that if it does become worse to the point that she needs to have it removed, our vet will do the surgery.
In the meantime, this playful beauty is looking for a home where she can romp and have some lap time! 🐈⬛💕She loves a wand toy, and especially likes playing with her foster buddy, Licorice (scroll back on our page to learn more about Licorice). She gets along with other cats, so she would love to have a feline friend in her adoptive home.
Brûlée is about 10 months old, as of 6/2024, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and negative for FIV & FeLV.
