My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Havanna, a 9 month old, 32-ish pound (as of 11/13), adorable Shepherd mix! She is a sweet, goofy girl, who is good-natured and just wants to follow her foster mom at all times. She is housetrained and doesn't chew on things. She loves to play with her toys, leaving shoes, cords, furniture, etc alone. And the best part, she sleeps through the night without having to go to the bathroom, which is almost unheard of in a puppy! She is fine in a crate or pen with another dog, but she hates to be left alone in it by herself. She would do better in a home with another dog to keep her company or where someone is home a lot. Because she is so well behaved, she can also be left in a room without being crated when you’re not home.

Havanna is shy at first but once she warms up to you, she turns into a cuddle monster and the sweetest girl ever. You will not regret adopting this super snuggly easy to take care of dog who will be loyal to you forever!

More about this rescue

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.

Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
