Looking for the sweetest boy there ever was? Roux is here for you! We have no idea how Roux has been overlooked for a forever home because he is just an all-around good dog. He's a smart, handsome boy that loves to go for walks, play with toys, wrestle with his foster brother, sniff around the yard, snuggle, go for car rides, and eat (he's very food motivated)! He's quickly learning some basic commands, walks well on a leash, does well in his crate (after a couple minutes of settling in), and only had a couple accidents in the house when he first transitioned to staying with us. No accidents in his crate though!
Roux would do best in a home with another dog to play with, or a family that can help keep him active. He has done well with all the dogs we've seen him interact with and we can tell he can read other dogs' cues very well. He loves all people, including a couple older kids he's met, and will noodle his way into your armpits and under your knees during snuggle time or roll over on his back for some good rib rubs. He is still a bit of a jumpy boy (he might be part bunny, he's got some good hops, but we're working on it!) so older kids would probably be better for him. He's very interested in cats, but they don't always appreciate him poking them with his nose to try to get them to move. A dog-savvy cat or no cats is probably best.
Roux is a little love worm and is so ready to give all his love to his forever family and be loved in return. He's hoping to find his new home soon with some lovely people who will give him lots of attention and basic training to be the best boy he can be.
