My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grace! She's a young female dog with lots of love to give, and she could be your perfect match. Grace is a cute, friendly, and affectionate dog who loves to play and explore. She's also a very loyal dog who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Grace is gentle and well-behaved, and she loves to get kisses and cuddles. She's an intelligent dog who is brave and curious, and she's always up for a good time. She can be independent, but also loves to be included and feels comfort in being included in family activities. She enjoys going on walks and playing with toys, but is also content being a couch potato and watching the world go by. She may be quiet and dignified, but she's got a playful side, too! Grace gets along well with other dogs, and would be a great addition to your family, or a lovely companion for a single person. If you're looking for a funny, athletic, and loving dog, Grace is the one for you! Here are some more fun facts about Grace! She's house-trained and knows some basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay'. She's an excellent walker and doesn't pull on her leash. She's gentle with children and other animals, and she's always eager to make new friends.

Please fill out our online application (www.fochp.org).  Once you meet the pet and decide it is the right pet for your family there is an adoption fee.  The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, microchip, 30-day pet health insurance which you will need to order when we provide you with the number.    Our adoption fees are non-refundable so please be sure you are ready for a commitment to the pet you are interested in. Please be sure to check your spam mail if you feel you have not heard from us.

Once we receive the application, we can put you in touch with the foster home so you can schedule a time to meet the pet.  Our adoption process is pretty quick, and a lot of volunteers are involved to ensure you get a quick response.  Please…. only fill out the application if you are ready to adopt right now and have consent from all parties involved.  Once you submit the application please verify that it is received (the screen will say your application has been received) if you do not get that message it has not been submitted. – if you do not hear from us within 1 hour, we may not have received your application.

Adoptions are based on Best fit/match and then 1st come 1st serve.  Please check your email regularly for a response from the foster and be prepared for the opportunity to meet the dog as soon as they can be adopted.
