SCOOBY ~1 year old. Good with dogs and older, considerate kids. Cats TBD. Needs companion animal and fenced yard.
GSRA adopts to residents of VA, NC, and SC only.
If a GSD has been your dream dog but you were worried about their size then I have the perfect dog for you. Little Scooby is still a pup and likely be 40-50lbs as a full grown adult. But his small size doesn’t affect his big personality. He’s a happy boy whose been great with dogs from 3 months – 16 years, male and female and loves them all. He’s a playful fellow who can hang with the “big dog” wrestle chasing play style. He loves toys and can happily entertain himself. He’s a little shy/timid on walks but is gaining confidence daily, it won’t be long before he’s super excited to harness up and head out the door. Scooby is crate trained, sleeps quietly all night long and is house trained with frequent trips outside. Scooby would do best in a home with a playful, confident dog, and a fenced yard – he’s a zoomie runner and needs space to release that pent up energy. Scooby is still learning not to jump up when he wants attention. He would be fine with older children. Cats tbd.
