My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie is such a beautiful, loving cat. She was abandoned on her front porch when her owners moved and was placed into a wonderful foster home who showed her how to trust humans again. She loves to be pet and receive belly rubs! She is not fond of other cats and stays in one room at her foster home due to them having their own cat. She needs a home with no other pets. Gracie has asthma and is on an inhaler for acute episodes which happen a few times a month.

Gracie is spayed, tested negative for felv/fiv and up to date on vaccines. She has also had a dental. She’s totally ready for her real forever home!

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
