Drago is a handsome 1-year-old male grey pit mix, weighing 59 lbs. This block-headed bully is great with other dogs and is looking for his forever home. While Drago hasn't been socialized with cats and has only met a young child in passing (where he was very enthusiastic), he is eager to learn and adapt in a loving environment. Preliminary cat testing can be done and a meet and greet with any kids can be done on site.His foster reports that Drago is house broken, making him a well-behaved addition to any household. With his playful spirit and big heart, Drago is sure to bring joy and companionship to his new family. We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
