My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiwi is a black and white tegu. He was found roaming a college campus in NC. He is extremely aggressive and does not bite gently. Kiwi is basically feral, we have pet him with a glove on but he does not appreciate it. Kiwi also has an obvious mouth deformity, but it does not affect him in his daily life.

More about this rescue

Rubys Reptile Rodeo, a 501c3 non profit rescue, was founded early 2021 but was officially put into place January 1st 2023. We originally were the New Hampshire branch of Fresh Start Reptile Rescue Inc however due to our outstanding growth in just one year, we developed our own 501c3. The community has been amazing in the past year to this husband and wife team; we aim to keep reaching higher and higher each year. Currently, we take in all non venomous reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and all arthropods. We do also take in small mammals in extreme circumstances.
