My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Violet is a recent transfer from our local shelter. She came in with some significant markings on her however her owners have not came forward for her. She does have some permenant damage to her shell and being nearly full grown, there isn’t much chance of her growing out of it however she is eating and drinking well. With a little TLC she can live a normal life and a long happy tortoise life.

More about this rescue

Rubys Reptile Rodeo, a 501c3 non profit rescue, was founded early 2021 but was officially put into place January 1st 2023. We originally were the New Hampshire branch of Fresh Start Reptile Rescue Inc however due to our outstanding growth in just one year, we developed our own 501c3. The community has been amazing in the past year to this husband and wife team; we aim to keep reaching higher and higher each year. Currently, we take in all non venomous reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and all arthropods. We do also take in small mammals in extreme circumstances.
