I have never really belonged anywhere. Given my age, you probably find that to be unbelievable but unfortunately, I have always just been "there". The family I was born to had no interest in keeping my siblings and me and as we started to get bigger and bigger they decided the best way to get rid of us was to let us loose out in the country. There were three of us and we spent our days scavenging and just trying to find a place to belong. People aren't always kind to strays, especially when they see 3 of them traveling together. It didn't matter that we were the sweetest pups ever, no one wanted us and everyone wanted us off their property. Eventually, we ended up getting picked up and brought to doggie jail. Our crime? Being unwanted. There we sat at the shelter for 3 MONTHS. Yes, you read that right. For 3 months we sat in the shelter, and it wasn't even a fancy air-conditioned shelter. It was basically a large stock trailer that had been converted to a shelter, and it wasn't very big nor did it get very much exposure. Thanks to some kind people finding out about our situation and networking us, all of us ended up being welcomed to PPFT's fluffy butt family.

It didn't take me long to embrace my new life. That is just who I am. An outgoing and lovable social butterfly that is always ready to make friends....animals and people alike. I am pretty sure that I could even befriend a rock I am just that friendly and lovable. I have been around dogs, cats, and kids in my foster home and love them all equally the same. The other dogs I love playing with and enjoy their companionship. The cats I will sometimes give some nose boops to let them know I love them and then be on my way. The kids...oh the kids. They are so kind and gentle and I love lying by them while they do homework or following them around the yard. I am definitely a people pleaser and tend to always be in close proximity to my people. Where they go...I hope to go too. Be it doing chores around the house, gardening outside, going for walks, or just grilling outside...I am there for them! Luckily, I am on the smaller side...well compared to this rescue's average Pyrabear...so you can consider me travel-sized! I am your take everywhere buddy shrunk down to an adorable golden fluffball on legs! ;)

I would consider myself to be a really good mix of calm and playful. I love playing with the other dogs and having fun with them, but if they are tuckered out than I will entertain myself with toys or come on the couch and cuddle with my people. I am also a big fan of naps so will sometimes switch between the dog beds and cold tile. I do think I would be quite adaptable to any home environment. If my family were on the more active side and were looking for a dog they could take places with them and on walks/hikes I would have no problem keeping up with them. If they are looking for a more laid-back dog but has a big yard to play in, and/or another doggie playmate for me, and/or kids to entertain me...I would have no problem living a life mostly at home. For me, as long as I am with my people and not only loved but able to give love, kisses, and cuddles...I am going to be one happy boy! <3

I may be young, but I have already earned my good badge in house manners. I am completely potty trained and even have experience with a doggie door. I am not one to get into your stuff and chew it up, and can be trusted to free-roam the house. No kennel necessary for me. I have not shown to be a big barker in my foster home and tend to be on the quieter side so I do believe that I would handle apartment living quite well. Can you imagine all the friends I would make living in an apartment complex? Oooh, and if I live in a house maybe my neighborhood will have block parties or my family will do barbeques and have a whole bunch of people over? What could be better than food and people?!

For a pup that has never really belonged anywhere, I am so excited to find my forever family. Just imagining the feeling of having a family that actually wants ME, and wants me to be part of their family FUREVER.....would be such a dream come true for me!
