Hello, I`m Abby! As a sweet senior lady, I don`t thrive in overcrowded and stressful environments like a Shelter. Here are a few things you should know about me: I can be a bit of a puller on leash, and I have a weakness for small critters like lizards and squirrels! I love going on long walks and rolling around in the grass. Recently, I got to go on a field trip with my human friend, where we enjoyed a leisurely stroll by the river and a refreshing dip in the water - I adore the water! At the shelter, I always get excited when I get to play in the kiddie pools. I`ve even had the special treat of visiting Starbucks and enjoying a pup cup! Despite being a senior, I still have plenty of life left to live and lots of love to give. Oh, and did you know that I`ve participated in the Barks and Recreation Program several times? Ask the staff to see my `report cards` for proof!

Abby has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in her new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match! Check out her playgroup video here:

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
