Sweet momma Honeybee is officially ready to leave her babies and find her new family!
Honeybee is a one year old yellow lab who was surrendered to us EXTREMELY pregnant. Only a few days after arriving in our care, she delivered nine happy, healthy and beautiful yellow lab puppies. Even though she was just a baby herself, she proved to be such a good mom and we are so proud of her! She took such good care of her babies, and they are all now almost ready to find homes of their own.
Honeybee loves all living beings who will pay attention to her. She is the sweetest, most loving girl ever and she will do anything to get love and attention from the people around her. She is great with kids, great with other dogs, and has been fine with the cats in her foster home. She walks fairly well on a leash, is crate trained, house trained (although after having puppies, she might need some reminders here). She is very mellow for a one year old lab, probably because she became a mom so young, but she is still a puppy and does like to have fun. She'd love a playful, fun loving home.
Honeybee is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and Heartworm negative. She is fostered in Sarasota, Florida and her adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adding this sweet momma to your family, please complete an adoption application at the link below or email us at info@love4pawsfl.org for more info!

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.
Love for Paws exists to protect and advocate for dogs in our community through responsible adoption, the donation of supplies and veterinary care to those in need, by assisting in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals and by promoting kindness and healthy opportunity for life.
