My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

S-P-I-R-I-T! Spirit, let's hear it! This lovely lad is Spirit! He is a 8 month old mix breed that we transferred from PACC. He is the cutest, wiggly pup, but does need some work on his basic obedience skills. Spirit is quite small right now, but we believe he is going to be around 50-70 lbs when full grown. He has a lot of energy and is very intelligent and food motivated! So far he has his auto- sit down but could use a forever family to give him a loving home and guide him along the way. Spirit can go home with kids and other dogs, but it is best if he doesn't go home with any cats. If you are interested in adding him to your family, apply from him today!

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
