My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is an adorable 4 year old female Lab/Hound mix. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and housebroken. Dixie weighs 45 pounds and knows basic commands. She enjoys riding in the car and is eager to please, a very sweet dog who thrives from the attention she is getting. She loves water and will make a great loving companion.

More about this rescue

Nala's New Life Rescue is dedicated to rescuing animals who would otherwise be and are often in imminent danger of being euthanized at kill shelters.

We have also partnered Hospice of the Treasure Coast to take and place pets for hospice patients who were unable to find homes for their beloved companion animals before they passed away.

We never discriminate because of health, age, or breed.
