My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

https://foha.org/pet/ravi2024/

Hi there, I'm Ravi! At just 1 year old, I'm a bundle of joy and boundless energy, but there's also a bit of mystery to me that's waiting to be unraveled.

When I first arrived, I was a bit shy and cautious in playgroup, but put me in a smaller group and watch out! I absolutely love meeting new friends and having a blast running and playing in the play yard. I've been in playgroup and making new friends is one of my favorite activities.

Recently, one of my FAVORITE volunteer friends at FOHA decided to foster me! I have some exciting updates to share. On the car ride to my foster home, I was so eager to get into the backseat. I must've had a feeling I was going somewhere special because the entire office staff was there to see me off. I was a bit nervous in the car, but eventually, I snoozed off. When I was awake, I sat tall and sniffed all the interesting smells from the open window, or I walked left and right, taking it all in.

When I arrived at my new foster home, I immediately found my spot on the sofa. I was very sleepy and even though I had my own playpen with a bed, I ended up putting my two front paws on the bed and sleeping together with my foster parent. I spent most of the day sleeping and waking up to strange sounds. I'm still getting used to the neighbor upstairs walking around, firetrucks, garbage trucks, musical instruments, and train sounds-basically, all the loud and tall things. I even had a dream about running or walking somewhere because my paws were moving while I was dreaming on the sofa.

I'm learning to enjoy all the attention I get from the volunteers here at FOHA, too. They say I'm quite the performer with my full-body wiggles-I just can't contain my excitement!

If you're looking for a loyal companion who's always up for the next big adventure and discovery, look no further! Let's embark on this journey together. Come meet me soon-I can't wait to charm you with my wagging tail and playful spirit!
