My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Wednesday. I am a playful, spunky and snuggly puppy looking for my furever family.

I love playing with any dog, human or I can entertain myself with a stuffy, acorn top, well just about anything really! I’d love a family that will play lots with me and keep me active! I’m learning the critters outside are really fun to watch and I don’t need to bark at them.

I am very curious and my foster mom thinks it's adorable. Whether it is leaves blowing in the wind, toads hopping in the grass or an ice cube or carrot on the floor to eat, I tilt my head to the side so cute and love to investigate, play and explore. I LOVE playing fetch with the ball!! I will run super fast, retrieve it and run back to give it to you! I really enjoy playing in the water in the doggy pool and jumping around catching water in my mouth as I get sprayed with the garden hose!

I am going potty outside frequently and run to the back door when needed. I am crate trained and I go in when I just want to rest! I am an early riser but some days I’ll let you sleep in. I am perfect riding in a car, fun things happen when we get to our destination! I bark at things that startle me, but I am easily redirected.

I’m learning leash walking and am getting better. I am a quick learner and know sit, down, shake, touch and am working on place! I am super food motivated and treats get me to do just about anything!

I am one special pup looking for that one special family to love! I am excited to meet you!

--------------------------------------------

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
