This precious Black Lab looking baby boy is Aramis -a named from one of the Muskateers. Aramis is a Mountain Cur/Lab mix puppy that was born on March 26, as part of a litter of TWELVE! His mama is a 52 pound golden brindle Mountain Cur and daddy, we assume, is a Black Lab. We estimate his adult weight will be around 60-70 pounds and oh my what a handsome boy he is already. Aramis was initially reserved and a little shy compared to his adventurous and boisterous siblings. As he grows, his confidence grows as well. If ignored by the other dogs when he wants to play, he is not pushy or forceful but will vocalize his wants. He does loves to play but he is not into rough play. Even more than having a good time with the other dogs, he loves to be given attention. He is a little gentleman about wanting attention and is not forceful or obnoxious about it. Aramis is people oriented and loves some lap time and cuddles. He loves water and doesn’t think twice about splashing around in the kiddie pool. While napping, this pup can get into some of the funniest and entirely uncomfortable looking positions that keep his foster mom laughing. He runs after the ball so teaching him fetch will be a breeze! Aramis had a good time recently at a children’s birthday party and he was held by well over 10 children and he loved the cuddling and attention. He was so chilled and relaxed but still kind of amazed at all the sounds and activity that was a first for him. He also plays with his foster mom’s 4 year old twin granddaughters. He likes other dogs and we feel that he would be just fine and dandy around cats since he is so young and easy to acclimate to. Aramis is a pretty chill pup with a super sweet personality and would benefit from being exposed to a wider variety of people and experiences in life. Socialization is very important at this young age, especially for puppies who start out a little shy. Aramis will be the most loyal companion you could ever ask for! This darling pup is ready for a new home if you are in Tennessee and if you are northward (we transport to the northeast corridor of states), then we will have him ready for a smooth van ride the end of June. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in this healthy and happy puppy!!!!
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region. Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.
