Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Brandy was found at a high-kill shelter, cowering in the back of a 4X6 kennel where she was placed with 10 other dogs. She was too scared to eat or drink, and really seemed ready to just lay there and die. When we sprung her from death row, she instantly perked up and her demeanor completely changed -- she was absolutely ecstatic to be out of that scary place, and she could not show her appreciation enough. What a sweetheart!
Sadly, her coat was too matted to be saved, but it'll grow back soon and will be stunning in shades of white and apricot. We think she is about 2-3 yrs old and weighs 18 lbs. She is a tall girl (she comes up to my knees) with long graceful poodle legs, and beautiful amber-colored eyes.
Brandy would make a great family dog. She's got lots of energy and loves to run and play. But she's also a regular visitor at a local senior home, where she quietly and gently greets all the residents, standing patiently while they pet her, and loving every minute of all that attention!
Brandy is very friendly (but protective of her household), walks well on a leash, rides in a car, goes in a crate, and behaves for the groomer. Brandy is a major lover, wants to be in your lap and by your side, but also will hang out in her crate without complaint. She is not a barker and appears to be house-trained (no accidents so far). What more could you ask for?
Brandy is not interested in the other dogs, but she does want to chase the cats. She would prefer to be your only dog.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, current on vaccinations, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, ID tag, and puppy kisses from the lucky dog you take home!
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Brandy, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.
