My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Hoagie and Rye are bonded and must be adopted together.*

Hoagie and Rye Bread are a pair of inseparable and absolutely adorable kittens! They find joy in spooning, grooming, and engaging in playful activities together, with climbing and jumping being their forte during playtime. With their cuddly and friendly nature, they quickly become friends with anyone who comes their way. They enjoy cozying up in bed and eagerly roll over, inviting belly rubs. They also relish being cradled and rocked. And when it comes to entertainment, they can't resist watching TV, particularly the exciting game show 'The Price is Right!' Adopt this dynamic duo today and bring endless joy and entertainment to your home!

Since Hoagie and Rye are positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), they can only cohabitate with FeLV+ cats, dogs, or other non-feline animals, though. FeLV is species-specific and only contagious to cats; it is not contagious to humans, dogs, or other non-cat animals. Hoagie and Rye must always remain indoor kitties and need to be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet. Kittens can live up to 2 years old -- or sometimes even longer -- so we would love nothing more than for them to spend that time with a family of their own. For this reason, their adoption fee is waived.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
