My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Robbie is a 9-year-old senior Terrier mix with a charming shaggy-dog look and a heart full of love. This sweet boy is all about his humans and dreams of a cozy home where he can be the center of attention.

While Robbie prefers to be the only dog in the home due to his anxiety around other pups, he more than makes up for it with his love for people. He’s the ultimate cuddle buddy, ready to snuggle up on the couch for movie nights and soak up all the pets and attention you can give. Robbie would thrive in a quiet home with a big backyard or patio, giving him a peaceful space to go potty without any unexpected encounters with other dogs.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion to share your life and your couch, Robbie is ready to bring his sweet senior charm to your family. Come meet him and let him melt your heart!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
