Meet Addy!!
This sweet girl is about 8-9 years old. We believe she is a Shepherd mix of some kind. She currently weighs 53 pounds and is done growing.
For being considered a senior, Addy is still a puppy at heart!! She is quite the bundle of energy and enjoys giving hugs to the people she loves!!
She doesn't seem to mind our other dogs here and still has a pretty high play drive!!
We have no idea what she thinks about cats. Addy is a little hesitant with new people, especially men so she will need a loving and patient home to earn her trust.
Despite being on the older side, Addy still has a lot of life to live and love to give!!
We know she will make someone an amazing companion through the remainder of her years!!
Addy is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

You can come in anytime we are open to meet all of our adoptable animals.

2.
Submit Application

You can fill out an application our website https://hspets.org/adoption-application/ or in person.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once we approve your application, you can take your new family member home the same day you come to the shelter.

Additional adoption info

We require an application, but will do same day adoptions if all the necessary information can be acquired (vet reference, landlord approval). The adoption fee for our dogs is $85, adult cats are $30 and our kittens are $55. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchips, age appropriate vaccinations, a negative heartworm test (dogs) or FIV/Feleuk test (cats) and a 2 week health guarantee.

Saturday- 11am-5pm

Sunday- 1pm-5pm

Animals who have special needs/are less adoptable may also be shown by appointment outside of open hours. Offsite events are occasionally held as well.

The Humane Society of Stillwater operates an adoption guaranteed, nonprofit animal shelter that exists on donations from the public. We house dogs and cats until they are adopted into approved homes. We transfer cats and dogs into our shelter from other shelter's euthanasia lists and we keep them until they pick their forever families.
