Pepper
URGENT Foster Needed – Long Island, NY

Meet Pepper. Pepper is an 8-9yr old female poodle/terrier mix weighing roughly 38lbs. She urgently needs a temporary place to call home. Sadly, Pepper and her mom are losing their current home. Mom is doing all she can to find a new place to live that will allow her to take Pepper back, but it has proven to be quite the challenge. She is essentially going to be
without a home herself in the near future.

This is breaking mom’s heart. Pepper was badly abused as a puppy so when her mom adopted her, she was afraid of everything. It took a while for her to trust again, but now she and mom are the best of buddies. Pepper loves people and gets along with most dogs but should be in a home with no children under 15yrs. She is not a fan of felines. Her mom describes her as a friendly, fun-loving, self -sufficient, easy dog. Pepper can be stubborn but is very well behaved. She takes thyroid meds but is otherwise healthy. Pepper is spayed and UTD on all.
