My name is Burt Macklin!

Burt Macklin is a 3yr old pure-bread golden retriever (without papers). He is not neutered. Burt is an energetic, family friendly companion that our family has loved dearly since bringing him home as a puppy. Our current living situation isn't ideal to give him the time and attention he requires as a social dog. We are hoping to find the right home for him--one that could allow him to be indoors with the owner and be exercised regularly. Burt enjoys going on walks and hikes, is good on a leash and has descent recall. He just wants to be where ever you are! He's wonderful with children! We are also rehoming another golden retriever (7yrs), Duke Silver. He is listed separately. The dogs could go to the same home or different homes.
