My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in meeting Betty Jean & Everley, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

BettyJean, born approximately 5/29/23, came into foster care as a mother cat with her 4 kittens that were just 5 days old. She is a super friendly, people-oriented kitty and craves pets and attention.

(She can become overly playful taking your hand or foot in her mouth. She does not bite but her claws are sharp so not small children for this girl! We always recommend you do not play with kitties using your hands anyway. Use a wand, a fishing toy, or a laser light.)

With just Everley left to be adopted, he benefits by having his mom's complete attention. She washes him and then they play together and then curl up in each other's paws for a nap.

Everley, born exactly on 3/30/24, came into foster care with his mom, Betty Jean, and 3 siblings when he was just 5 days old.

When not playing with his mom, BettyJean, (or having her give him a thorough wash) he will lie next to fosterer for some pets. He gently takes holds of fingers in his paws to gently nibble - and then kicks fosterer with his hind legs. Little tough guy! - Then he goes to nap with his mom.

Mom BettyJean and her baby boy, Everley, are SO cute together . . .

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
