My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donner is approximately 11 month old adorable young fella.  He is a large mixed breed (shepherd/lab).  He does well with another dog to play and snuggle with. His brother Charlie Brown, available for adoption, would be a candidate.  He seems to do well with cats.  A fenced yard is a major plus.  If you'd like adopt Donner, please fill out an application at aylasacres.org.

Additional adoption info

We don't have a facility, so we screen applicants thoroughly before we set up a meet and greet. We conduct a vet check, reference check and a home check. We typical set up the meet at the adoptive home so the home check can be completed at the same time. If both parties agree the pup is a good fit we complete the adoption agreement and accept the adoption fee.

More about this rescue

We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.
