Meet Mia!! Mia is a spirited and adventurous little puppy with a big personality! Rescued from Texas, this brave girl isn't afraid to roughhouse with the big dogs. Mia's tomboy energy makes her a lively and fun-loving companion who's always up for a game or an outdoor adventure. Her zest for life and fearless nature ensure she brings excitement and joy wherever she goes.

Mia would do best in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime. She would thrive with a family that has other dogs she can play with, especially larger ones that can match her energy levels. Her new family should be ready to engage with her adventurous spirit and provide plenty of opportunities for fun and exploration.

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
