My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Genevive, AKA Cheeseburger! This goofy little girl is an absolute joy to have around. She loves her fellow fur-friends, and loves starting conversation with her human friends.

Genevive was found in not great circumstances, and unfortunately, those circumstance compromised her vision. Has this stopped her from doing literally anything...absolutely not! Her foster parents have learned that she really utilizes her hearing to get around and to play. This being said, Genevive is very sensitive to noise. Recently, she heard a doorbell for the first time and growled at the noise. Kissy noises send her running for the hills. The sound of a bell toy immediately grabs her attention and she will come running if her name(s) is called. While not completely blind, the occasional slip, bump, or fall is to be expected.

Couple things know about Genevive: She announces to the class when she catches her toy and proudly walks around showing off her trophies (even if its attached to the door frame). She has a passion for food! To the point where she will steal unattended food and will attempt to hide it around the house. Genevive LOVES her fur friends, even though she takes much joy in annoying her older roommates. One of her foster parent's favorite things about her, is her inability to sleep with her tongue in her mouth.

She is truly a one in a million! Genevive is excited for a very special home to call hers!
