Mama Lina is such a pretty, petite and friendly girl! She has raised her two boys (you can see Pena and Vega here too!) and now she can focus on on finding her own fur-ever home.

Ms Lina has her spay appointment scheduled for June 11th.

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are foster based,our pets reside in foster homes in the area. We use social media and in-person events to showcase our available pets.

2.
Submit Application

Our application is available on line. Applicants can apply for a specific pet, or be pre-approved and choose their pet after meeting several

Approve Application

Our applications are reviewed and processed by our all-volunteer team. This may include an interview & virtual home visit.

4.
Meet the Pet

Arrangements are made to meet our available cats and kittens at one of our events, or meetings can be directly with one of our fosters.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

A signed contract is completed prior to releasing the pet. Our contracts are sent electronically to the adopter.

6.
Pay Fee

Our adoption donation is due either prior to, or at the time of finalizing the adoption.

7.
Take the Pet Home

Once the adoption agreement is complete and the adoption donation received, the adopter is able to take home their new pet!

We currently are focused on adopting cats and kittens. We do not have foster homes at this time that are available to foster dogs and puppies.

Go meet their pets

Our organization does not have a brick and mortar facility. We are fortunate to enjoy the volunteer efforts of fosters to provide loving, temporary homes for our adoptable animals.

Fosters are the bridge between homeless and home - we always welcome new foster applicants! Details are provided in each pets bio as to their geographic location. Our primary foster area is Rowan County NC or within an hours radius.

Based in Rowan County, North Carolina Res-Q Runner operates solely on tax-deductible donations and fundraising events. Our 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)3 non-profit is committed to making a positive impact.

Our goals: aid in the reduction of unwanted and stray animals through the promotion of spay and neuter, educate the public on responsible pet ownership and - find loving, forever homes for those animals which we are called upon to help directly.

We partner with our local shelters and rescue partners, both local and nationwide to provide foster care, medical care, and the connection to loving homes.
