My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nixon is an 11 yr old Standard Poodle that needs a loving permanent home. When Nixon’s owner was hospitalized, I offered to foster him short term. Unfortunately his owner passed away and Nixon has been with me 10 months. I work long hours and travel for work. Nixon needs a family who can spend more time with him. He is a sweet boy who tolerates other dogs and will let them know with a little snarl if they get in his face. He loves all humans, even children. He loves walks, especially with the neighbor’s dog. He rarely barks, but will let you know when someone is at the front door. He is a healthy senior. He does take Carprofen once a day to help with his older joints. He grazes on his food throughout the day and loves his canned pumpkin treat. He’ll sleep in his dog bed at night, but will gladly share your bed with you.
