My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bullfrog is an active, intelligent, goofy guy that unfortunately has grown up in the shelter. We don't get it, because he is a total catch. He needs a home that will give him not only love, but plenty of exercise and consistency with the training he has already accomplished! He has completed two classes with A Sound Beginning, and was a star pupil. He should definitely continue taking classes with A Sound Beginning and doing work in home, because he thoroughly enjoys it! Bullfrog is a rough player, so a home with older children or adults only would be preferred. He loves rough-housing with his shelter friend, Supergirl. If there's another dog in the home, they should be as active as he is with plenty of supervision so everyone is happy!

Additional adoption info

All family members are required to be present in order to adopt an animal. You must be 21 years old or older to adopt. Applications must be completed and approved prior to adopting an animal. If approved, an applicant must sign a contract to adopt an animal which outlines the responsibilities of the shelter and the adopter. A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter is located in Naperville, IL. We are a private, no kill, non profit organization that provides temporary shelter and care to dogs and cats in search of their forever home. We were founded in 1989 and, to date, have found homes for over 20,000 pets! Our objective is to place animals into permanent, caring homes and advance the humane treatment of animals through education.
