Hi, I am Indiana Bones, but most of the adventuring I like to do is in my dreams. I am a 5 year old English bulldog and I spend most of the day sleeping on a fuzzy carpet, soaking in the sun, but when I do get out I will sniff every flower in sight!
My foster family says I get the 'wiggles' a lot, I just shake and wiggle around 'till I'm flat on the floor. It's just what makes me me!
I know how to sit, but only when I want to, and will occasionally get your attention by booping you with my paw. I am also potty trained and have been known to be able hold it through the night, and sometimes longer!
I am fairly quiet and would be a good fit for an apartment, but stairs are a little difficult so I would prefer ramps or stairless homes. I do get scared and cry if left alone at night, so I would prefer to sleep in the same room as my family, but if you need to leave for a short errand in the middle of the day, I know how to behave. I think I'm just scared of the dark!
I tend to get jealous so I don't think I would do too well with other animals and small children getting affection. I want to be your one and only!

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
