My name is Marco!

Marco is the cutest, sweetest 15-year-old dog I have ever known. I adopted him from the Humane Society. Initially very timid, he has gradually come out of his shell. Marco mainly sleeps but will walk around when he's hungry, needs to go outside, or just wants to stretch his legs. He loves being outside and lying in the grass. Remarkably, he does not lick or bark—I've only heard him bark four times in the three years I've had him, the last time being two years ago.

Marco has cataracts but manages to get around on his own, although he doesn't navigate stairs by himself. He is very friendly to other dogs and people. Due to his vision, it's best to let him smell your hand first before petting him, as he can get startled if approached too quickly. He is afraid of thunder, so expect him to seek snuggles during storms.
