My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boy oh boy have I had a rough time! I was originally brought in by a kind rescuer who found me in her yard. Well I stayed here for a week or two and I was adopted! Yay! I was very excited! Well I stayed with my new owner for a few weeks and then she had to "go out of town" and she left me with a friend. Problem was....she never came back! When contacted she said she didn't want me anymore! YIKES! What is wrong with people? Then her friend brought me here, because he had his own pets and hadn't planned on having anymore! Sigh....I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I sure hope when I am adopted next time, I will have someone who is ready to make the commitment to have a pet and make it a member of the family!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
