Ranger is a precious Shepherd mix who is 1 1/2 years old and is hoping to find his new family soon! He does great with people, but small kids tend to make him a little nervous. He would need to be in a home with older kids and adults who can walk him and give him all the love he craves and deserves. He can be dog selective, so a meet and greet with your current dog(s) is required.

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
