Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy & Orchard Mix, Western Timothy Hay
Favorite toys and activities: Munching on hay and snuggling in her Oxbow cardboard house
Potty trained: No
This animal’s daily routine: Hay, pellet and water refresh in the am. Fresh veggies and playtime with cage spot clean in the pm
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, & Betty McGlown are a bonded trio and must be adopted together.
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cat - Indifferent
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Yes, same as adults. Timid but friendly
Health concerns: None.
Behavioral concerns: None.
Other notes: Betty is the most shy of the group, but you can tell she loves Mary, Florence, and Diana. I typically call her the "siren" of them - if anything in the room changes she's typically the first to start her "SQUEE". Her and Florence have competitions on how loud they can be - it's quite cute and not THAT often :) She hangs out at the back of the group, even when it's feeding or treat time. She enjoys having a cozy bed or lost of soft fleece in the hides to snuggle up on.
Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, & Betty McGlown came to MNPPR when their previous owner was no longer able to keep up with their care.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Eagan PetSmart - 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, & Betty McGlown have a combined adoption fee of $85
We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask.
Betty's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored. If you would like to donate to provide veterinary care, food, bedding, and enrichment for Betty or other pocket pets in the care of MNPPR, please visit https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/sponsor-a-pocket-pet for more information.
