My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

 ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,  things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your  adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam  and follow up exams.~

Health: ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam *****
Temperament: Being a breeder release, Tornado was shy the first week in his foster home but he opened up and acts like a whole new dog now! He’s very playful and loves kissing you good night and waking you up with some morning kisses. He also loves hugging you in case you didn’t already know how much he loves you. He likes to run around and play with his foster brothers but can also relax on the couch with you. Tornado loves going on walks but also uses the doggy door when he needs to go. He does go crazy over food so you have to be careful around him until he learns his manners. He would do best in a home with another dog to play with and no small children since he’s still a little shy with fast movement. --

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
