 ~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption,  things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your  adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam  and follow up exams.~

Temperament: Meet Pumpernickel, a sweet 14-year-old senior looking for a forever home to spend his golden years in. This good boy gets along with everyone and never causes any trouble. He just longs for a loving family to call his own. It may take him some time to adjust, as his whole world was turned upside down when he was surrendered to us, losing the only family he has ever known. But with patience and love, Pumpernickel is sure to bring joy to someone's life. Could that someone be you? --

Please allow up to 72 hours for a response.

Adopting one of our dogs requires that you fill out an adoption application, have your references checked, and let us visit your home.

The required minimum adoption donation is $250. That amount covers the spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, heartworm testing, and one month of heart worm preventative.

We spend about $300.00 just to treat the pommies that are heartworm positive. We have invested more than $1000.00 in several of our pommies--treating them and kenneling them. Kenneling cost $16 a day per dog. We need foster homes!
