Olaf is a ten year old chihuahua mix. He is large for a chihuahua, at 20 pounds. Olaf is a little bit shy and unsure, but he is gentle and sweet. He has not exhibited any signs of aggression.

Olaf does fine with other small dogs. Unknown how he would be with large dogs, but he should not live with aggressive animals. He seems to be okay around cats.

Non-negotiable: Olaf must have a yard with a fence. He will not wear a collar or walk on a leash.

Olaf would be fine as an only-dog, and likely with children. He would also love a quiet retirement home!

Olaf will ask for pets by nudging your hand or putting his head on you. He prefers to sleep on a couch at night BUT sometimes will take naps in the bed.
Olaf is very scared of storms and will need comforting during thunder and rain. He does not act out but he needs a home that will treat him sweetly.
Olaf has had no accidents and potties outside. He does not like the crate but will stay in one if necessary. He can be left uncaged for several hours as he is not destructive.

When his loved ones walk through the door, Olaf grabs his favorite toy and shows it off. Doesn’t matter how long you’ve been gone. Therefore toys are a MUST for Olaf. Preferably small plushies.
