Please welcome beautiful little Winnie to Sky Sanctuary! Winnie was found laboring on the side of the road by some good Samaritans who brought her to an emergency vet. She was experiencing dystocia in which all of her puppies had passed. Due to how expensive the surgery was, Winnie faced euthanasia. The practice manager gave us a call and we quickly agreed to welcome her to the sanctuary. They stabilized her and she had an emergency C-section. When we met Winnie she was broken. Tired and so fearful. Winnie is still healing but is doing wonderfully. Day by day she is coming out of her shell more and more and is beginning to trust our team. We cannot even begin to imagine the trauma that she has endured in her little life, but we are determined to change her life for the better and find Winnie's forever home!
