We're so excited to have our little woolly bear transform into a dog! Lemongrass is a mix, possibly Shih Tzu, and is only around 14 pounds. He is male, 15 months of age, and what we consider, a little bit of a project! He came from a home with too many dogs and he obviously was not the one to receive much handling. He is as sweet as can be and tries to take everything thrown at him in stride. He is a timid guy and we are working on his confidence. He does great with other dogs and has been exposed to cats. He is willing to be held without a fuss and we are gradually getting him used to attention. Grooming was a scary endeavor but Kevin at Pawfection Grooming Salon made it so much easier for him to conquer this situation. He was full of matted hair so Lemongrass received his shave-down summer haircut to start over and grow a healthier coat! He is precious but will require a family that is extra patient as this very timid little guy will need to learn the ways of the world! Each animal is reviewed individually for their specific needs and matched accordingly. We are a newly founded rescue and in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) standing. We are excited to start this process and already have animals in the program in search of committed, loving homes!
