Hi, I'm Ricky! I'm a laid-back, gentle soul who loves nothing more than a good nap in my snuggle sack after a hearty meal of Cheerios. My best friend, Mickey, says I'm the sweetest rat he's ever met. I'm not much for running on the wheel, but I do enjoy a good cuddle. I'm mellow, so I don't mind if you want to hold me. I promise to be the most loving, cuddly companion you could ask for. Adopt me, and you'll always have a friend to share your Cheerios with!

Favorite toys and activities: Ricky likes making nests in his fleece bedding. He also climbs in his tubes and cuddles with Micky.
Potty trained: We're working on it!
This animal’s daily routine: In the morning, his fosters fill up his water bottle and food bowl. They pet and play with him for a while. In the afternoon, he and his friends get some play time, and food gets topped off if needed.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Oh Ricky You So Fine & Hey Micky are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Health concerns: Oh Ricky You So Fine has recently recovered from a URI. We continue to monitor for reassurance.
Behavioral concerns: Ricky is in the Trust Training program because he has had little interaction with people. He is shy but mostly calm. His fosters are working on exposing him to humans more, talking to him, feeding him snacks from their hands, and giving him gentle pets. It is going well. Oh Ricky You So Fine & Hey Micky came to MNPPR when their previous owner was no longer able to keep up with care.
Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Maplewood Petsmart - 2370 White Bear Ave N, Maplewood, MN 55109 for meet & greets, & adoptions.
Fee: Oh Ricky You So Fine & Hey Micky have a combined adoption fee of $35
