My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lizzie! I am fostering her for North County Paws Cause. She was relinquished to us since her former owners had a child after they adopted her, that is seriously allergic to cats.

Lizzie is 4-5 years old and spayed. As with many brachiocephalic cats, her teeth aren’t great. We had a full dental done, she didn't need any teeth pulled, so she's got a nice clean set of teeth and a clean bill of health.

Lizzie is a great kitty! Loves to be held and snuggled. Easy to bathe - she complains but doesn’t fight. While she’s not stoked on the other foster kitties in the house, she is with them 100% of the time and runs the house. She’s with five teenager boy kittens and she keeps them on their toes, giving them baps and growls but never attacking or aggressive. We also have three tiny kittens and when they cry she comes running to check on them. Once she confirms they’re ok, she hisses in their face and strolls off. She is a hoot! She really would prefer to be the only princess in the home, though.

She doesn’t really get up on furniture. She has discovered the giant cat tree and likes scratching on it. She is our little shadow - she’ll be a great cat for someone who needs a little friend. She’ll follow you around and demand to be picked up for snuggles.

Her adoption fee is $150. She can go to a home with or without other cats, and ideally will go to a home where someone is home a lot since she enjoys companionship with people. She greets guests at our door, she is really a people cat. Obviously folks familiar with this breed and willing to provide regular grooming, daily combing, regular vet care, and indoor only home. Lizzie deserves the best!

We are in Paso Robles, CA and welcome folks to do a Zoom meeting if you’re not in the area. Adoption within five hours so she’s not on a long travel trip to her new home. Consider this young sweet girl!
