DOB: 10/26/23 Don’t let the name fool you, Luna 2 is a male kitty!
Luna's feline mom (Lana) was a stray cat rescued on October 23, 2023 by a cat owner/good samaritan. Three days later, Lana gave birth to four kittens. Luna, his mom and three siblings were kept safe in an enclosed porch for the winter, but they eventually needed more room to run, play and explore.GRASP became involved with the kitties in the spring of 2024, when all of the kittens were vetted and altered. Luna was listed for adoption, but after being passed over all summer, due to an abundance of options, entered a GRASP foster home, along with one of his brothers (Lazlo), in September 2024.Luna was a bit wary of his new home and foster parents, but from the beginning showed an affinity for head rubs and being petted. He quickly felt comfortable sitting out in the presence of his foster mom, and now stands on her lap to be petted. He doesn’t stay for long though, darting off to explore and keep an eye on things. Luna reportedly got along well with his mother and siblings. He has gotten along well with his brother while in foster care. He is a bit fearful of, and standoffish with, the fosters’ cat. He has not yet met any dogs or children. Now one year old, Luna would make a great addition to any home that doesn’t quite want the chaos of kittens, but is looking to have a pet for the long haul. While not listed as a bonded pair, Luna and his brother would make a great pair for someone looking for multiple cats.
