At almost a year old, vin is very friendly and playful with a lot of energy. He hasn't been well socialized so he sees all dogs as an immediate playmate, jumping straight into some rough play. This can be hard for a lot of dogs so a slow managed introduction will be necessary. He has never been around cats or kids either. this is a courtesy post for Annette 434-713-2885

Fees range from $80 to $150 depending on age and breed.

We have a weekly adoption fair at Petco in Danville, Va. where we bring some of our dogs and cats. Most are fostered in members' homes. If you see a dog on our web site, please call us and we will make an appointment for you to meet. We make every effort to match the dogs with their prospective homes. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated volunteers formed in 2007 to increase adoptions and reduce the kill rate from our local pound. We foster, vet, transfer and love all the dogs that we rescue and make every possible effort to place them in forever loving homes. We also operate a food bank to help keep pets in their homes. We are totally dependent on volunteers and donations from animal lovers like ourselves. We are saving and placing 20-30 dogs a month who would have been euthanized.
