My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Fauna: Playful + Gentle + Curious

Gorgeous dark tortie sisters "Flora," "Fauna," & "Merryweather,"  along with their tabby brother & sister "Prince Philip" and "SweeTart," were 6-weeks old when they were rescued from an empty property that was in probate. Considering this rough start, they are understandably still a bit shy.

"Fauna" is the most shy of all the siblings, we are still figuring out what is going to help her come out of her shell. However, she is very gentle, allows herself to be picked up and held, and definitely loves her siblings and other kitties. She's also quite curious as you can see by her pics with the bubbles! With a little snuggling and patience "Fauna" should become a wonderful addition to a quiet and chill family.

If you'd like to meet "Fauna" or any of our adoptable kittens, please submit an application today! If you have any questions, please email CatsCradleRescueCA@gmail.com.

Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption.  Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family.

Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal.  Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip.  We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag and starter food.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer run, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping homeless cats and kittens in Ventura County. We help abandoned and unwanted animals find wonderful, new, forever homes by taking them in, getting them any needed medical care, loving them and raising them to be loving pets, then adopting them out at one of our three adoption sites. We will take in nursing or pregnant cats, newborn motherless kittens, older kittens and in some cases homeless adults cats.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help out at adoptions as well as foster animals. There are always more animals in need of care than foster homes. Cats Cradle will supply food and litter, you supply the love! Please call or email if you are interested in helping out.
