BEAU—

FOSTER NEEDED ASAP PLEASE!!

We’ve got a super special little guy we can’t wait for you to meet—say hello to BEAU; he’s ready and waiting to sweep you right off your feet!! Our boy Beau came to us from the Downey Shelter and is looking for a couch to curl up on, whether it’s for a short time or a lifetime, he needs it ASAP to recover, decompress, and get all the love after a little surgery. Unfortunately, a biopsy done on the left side of Beau’s penis revealed he has squamous cell carcinoma so he is in urgent need of a super kind FOSTER family to give him all the TLC and help him kick some carcinoma tail. Ideally, his foster home will be in or around the San Diego area to get our brave buddy Beau to and from his appointments at VHS. At about 7 years old, Beau is resilient, curious, exceptionally handsome and as charming as they come! Our volunteer said he enjoyed a solid neck rub and was as sweet as can be (take one look in his eyes and it’s easy to see)! We don’t know much more about Beau, but cannot wait to learn about him and to see his extraordinary personality, quirks, and behaviors emerge as he settles in with his FOSTER family!Beau’s a fierce little fighter who deserves nothing but scratches, snuggles, treats, and TLC. If you feel it in your heart and have room in your home, please open your mind and your door to being his foster family.

Boston Buddies adopts its dogs to loving and caring homes located in Southern California. We do not place our dogs in homes with children under the age of eight. The first step in adopting a Boston Buddy is to submit an Adoption Application which can be downloaded at our website, www.bostonbuddies.org. After a home visit with one of our volunteers and approval of the Application we will arrange meetings with dogs that will be compatible with the approved adopter. An Adoption Application and Adoption Fee is required, as well as follow up visits.

Boston Buddies is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers who are abandoned, neglected or abused and placing them in permanent, loving homes. Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers with loving, permanent families specifically interested in the breed. We do not have a brick and mortar kennel facility. Instead, we provide our rescue dogs with temporary foster care in private homes located throughout Southern California where we can assess their personality and preferences. All of our dogs are examined by a vet and provided all necessary medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and put on heartworm preventative.
