My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for your new hiking or walking buddy? Or maybe just a snuggle-bug extraordinaire? Then look no further than Miss Bailee (also known lovingly by her foster family as Miss Pickles)! This adorable girl, born in May 2022, is a vivacious and beautiful Great Pyrenees mix who is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and boundless energy. Her gorgeous brown eyes are bursting with youthful exuberance and a zest for life that is truly infectious. Bailee likes her routine of 1-2 long walks per day, plenty of play time with her foster brother (she keeps him young), and looooooots of toy/stimulation time sprinkled with a few zoomies around the house. She even loves the chaos of a home with children – she is approved for 7+!  Bailee’s favorite time of day is going for walks. She smiles from ear to ear and her tail wags with a mind of its own when she sees her people get their walking shoes on. She is still working on mastering polite greetings when seeing other dogs outside, but she would thrive with another canine companion around her age in her furever home. She would do best with an experienced dog owner to help her develop her lady-like manners. When her people are at work during the day, she has done well being left loose in the house. However, when the routine is changed up, she also does well in her crate. Bailee is the ultimate lover of affection, often leaning in for hugs and cuddles whenever the opportunity arises. And oh, that belly! When she rolls onto her back, it’s a happy invitation for a good belly rub. Bailee's ideal home will provide her with plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment, as she thrives on outdoor adventures, play time with her fur brother, and toy time. A home without cats or children younger than 5 would suit her best—after all, exuberance is her middle name! Bailee is a smart cookie and will continue to benefit from consistent guidance. So, if you’re seeking a spirited companion who will keep you on your toes, then look no further than Bailee!
